Women in Paris now legally allowed to wear pants
Women in Paris are now legally allowed to wear trousers after a 214-year-old law was abolished.
France’s Minister of Women’s Rights Najat Vallaud-Belkacem has axed the 1799 legislation which stated females in the French capital who wish to "dress like a man" must obtain permission from the police.
