Investigation underway after suspected acid attack

Gardaí are investigating a suspected acid attack in Dublin.

A man in his early thirties was taken to hospital with serious facial injuries after being assaulted at Redwood estate in Hollystown, Blanchardstown.

It happened at approximately 6am and Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
