Garda investigation underway after body found off Galway coast

A Garda investigation is underway after the body of a man was found off the coast of Galway.

It was found during a search by the Galway RNLI Lifeboat and the Irish Coastguard

after a man was reported missing in the area yesterday.

The body was recovered two miles west of Barna this afternoon and a post mortem will take place tomorrow.
