Climbers hospitalised following Comeraghs fall
Three climbers are being treated at Waterford Regional Hospital after they fell down a gully in the Comeragh Mountains earlier.
The three men aged in their 30s and 40s slipped down a drop of up to 50 metres in the area of Coumshingaun Lake at about 1pm.
The men, who were all experienced climbers, suffered a number of non-life-threatening injuries including broken ribs and a dislocated shoulder.
They were brought to safety by members of the South East Mountain Rescue Group, the fire service and the HSE.
