Gardaí release man arrested in connection with violent burglary at elderly woman's home

A 48-year-old man arrested in connection with the aggravated burglary of a 96-year-old woman in Co Donegal was last night released without charge.

Greta Lilly was threatened and assaulted when a man entered her home in Ardarvan, Buncrana shortly after midnight. He left the scene with a sum of cash.
