Moutain rescue enroute to injured hillwalker in Macgillycuddy Reeks

Kerry Mountain Rescue team are enroute to a woman who fell this afternoon on the Macgillycuddy Reeks.
The alarm was raised at around 4pm when the woman, who was walking with a group on Strikeen Mountain, slipped and injured herself.
It is understood she may have suffered a broken ankle.
20 members of the Kerry Mountain Rescue team have been dispatched and will stretcher the woman off the mountain where they will be met by an ambulance.
