Emergency services at scene of Clare crash

One person has been taken to hospital following a crash in Clare.

The two vehicle collision happened at around 5.30pm on the main Ennis to Kilrush road, near Caherea School.

Emergency services remain at the scene, where the road is blocked, but Gardaí say they expect the route to re-open within the next hour.
