Man dies after Naas shooting

A 33-year-old man who received serious gunshot injuries at a shooting in a house in Co Kildare has died in Naas General Hospital.

He was shot in an incident before 6am this morning at a house in Kilmeage, Naas and was subsequently pronounced dead.

The house has been sealed off and the office of the State Pathologist has been notified. There have been no arrests at this stage.
