Man dies after Dublin road accident
A man has died after he was struck by two vehicles in Dublin city centre overnight.
The collision happened at the junction of Parnell Square West and Parnell Street just after midnight.
The pedestrian in his 50s was rushed to the nearby Mater Hospital for treatment. He was later pronounced dead.
Gardaí say the road was closed for a technical examination overnight and it has now re-opened.
