The Tánaiste and Minister for Foreign Affairs has strongly condemned the return of violence to the streets of Belfast in recent days.

Speaking in the Dáil this evening, he called for an immediate end to the intimidation of public representatives, in particular those of the Alliance party and their families.

He also condemned last night’s petrol bomb attack on a female member of the PSNI, after holding talks with Secretary of State for Northern Ireland, Theresa Villiers earlier today.
