The bodies of a family-of-three who died in a house-fire in Leitrim earlier have been removed from the scene.

Seventy-five year old Desmond McDonald, his 77-year-old wife Patsy, and their daughter Patricia, aged 34, were killed in the blaze at Lisnabrack, near Manorhamilton early this morning.

GardaĂ­ are carrying out a forensic examination, and are treating the fire as a tragic accident.
