Gardaí arrest pair in connection with 2008 Guerrine killing

Gardaí in Dublin have arrested two men in relation to the killing of Darren Guerrine four years ago.
The 22-year-old's body was discovered shortly before 8am on February 18, 2008 on the bank of the Grand Canal between Kylemore Road and the Naas Road.
He had suffered head injuries.
Today, Gardaí at Kilmainham arrested two men, one aged in his 30s and the other aged in his 20s.
They are being held at Kilmainham and Kevin Street garda stations under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act and can be detained for up to 72 hours.
