Man dies after Limerick road accident
A man has died after a crash in Co Limerick overnight.
The 29-year-old man was driving during the single-vehicle collision, which happened about a mile from Granagh, on the Croom to Granagh road at Kilmore, just before 4am this morning.
He was taken to the Mid Western Regional Hospital in Limerick where he was later pronounced dead.
The road has been closed for a forensic examination, and diversions are in place.
Gardaí in Askeaton are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
