Free elephants, anyone? Get in contact with a Dutch zoo
A Dutch zoo is so fed up of its elephants it is giving them away for free.
Noorder Animal Park in the north-eastern town of Emmen is offering up four of the beasts to other zoos willing to take them after a fight broke out between the "unbearable" mammals in a power struggle for supremacy which left the herd matriarch dead.
Zoo biologist Webren Landman is quoted by the Mandolin Times as saying: "They push each other, blowing its trunk and flick his ear. The situation can not be controlled."
