Offaly gardaí arrest four in connection with dissident activity

Four people have been arrested outside Tullamore in Co Offaly as part of an ongoing investigation into dissident republican activity.

Three men, aged in their 20s and 30s, and a woman in her 20s were arrested at Rahan last night by members of the Special Detective Unit, along with members of other national units.

They are being held at Tullamore and Mullingar garda stations. Two guns were also recovered.
