Reilly: 'I stand over' choice of primary care centres
The Health Minister James Reilly has said there is no justification for calls on him to resign.
It follows threats from the Opposition to put another motion of no confidence against him in the Dáil.
Dr Reilly is under fire after it emerged he added the two primary care centres in his constituency to a priority list just hours before it was published.
The Health Minister is again insisting this was not stroke politics.
Speaking in West Dublin this morning, Dr Reilly said he would not change anything about the selection of primary care centres.
Dr Reilly said: "I have made it very clear that I stand over what I did and If I had it all to do again, I would do it again.
"There is very clearly a need for primary care centres in all of the locations mentioned."
