Man injured in Athlone car accident

Gardaí in Athlone are appealing for witnesses to a crash outside the town early this morning.

The single-vehicle incident happened at 6.50am this morning at Ballynahown.

The driver in his mid-thirties has been taken to hospital in Tullamore, however his injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
