Organisers of yesterday's anti-austerity rally in Dublin have condemned remarks made by the President of SIPTU about the "fascist behaviour" of a section of the crowd.

SIPTU's Jack O'Connor said a small section of the 10,000 protestors, orchestrated by Sinn Féin and the United Left Alliance, shouted down a speaker from the Irish Congress of Trade Unions.
