Foul play not suspected in Kilkenny body find

Gardaí said today that they are not treating as suspicious the discovery a man's body in Kilkenny overnight.

The remains of the man, aged in his 40s, were found in a house on Waterford Road in Kilkenny City last night.

The scene has been preserved for forensic examination, and a post mortem is planned for later today, but gardaí say preliminary examinations indicate no foul play was involved.
