A High Court challenge has been brought against the Minister for Justice's decision to phase out and ultimately abolish funding available to private charities involving in running lotteries.

The Rehab Group and Rehab Lotteries Ltd. claims the decision made by Justice Minister Alan Shatter last month to phase out funding available to private charitable lotteries under the Charitable Lotteries Scheme will damages their ability to help those with disabilities.
