Committee looking for views on TD powers of inquiry

The Oireachtas Finance Committee is looking for views on proposed laws which will give politicians new powers of inquiry.

The Inquiries Privileges and Procedures Bill would cover investigations in five areas, including the conduct of a member of the Dáil or Seanad, and those aimed at holding the current government to account.
