Department of Finance: Tax collected ahead of projections

The Department of Finance has said €28.35 billion in tax was collected by the end of October - that is €96 million ahead of projections.

The Exchequer returns also show that three of the big four sources of tax revenue - income, VAT and corporation tax - are performing well.
