Man found stabbed to death in Dublin street
A man was found dead on a Dublin street today after a suspected stabbing.
The victim was discovered shortly after 7am on St Donagh’s Road, in Donaghmede, in the north of the city.
A Garda spokeswoman said the man had suffered stab wounds.
Emergency services were alerted to the scene by a 999 telephone call.
The man, believed to be in his late 20s, was taken to Beaumont Hospital where he died a short time later.
The Garda spokeswoman said: “The State Pathologist Office has been notified and the Garda Technical Bureau is expected to arrive at the scene this morning.”
Investigators have appealed for anyone who may have been in the area and witnessed an incident to contact them at Coolock Garda station.
