Man seriously injured in Dublin stabbing

A man has been seriously injured in a stabbing in Dublin last night.

He was one of two males who were assaulted at around 1.30am on Capel Street in the city centre.

Both men were taken to the Mater Hospital.

Gardaí at Bridewell have launched an investigation into the incident. Capel Street was closed and diversions put in place.
