Hundreds turn out to funeral of sisters killed in Galway collision

The funeral has taken place this afternoon of the two little sisters who died in a road crash in Galway on Sunday.

Hundreds of mourners packed the Mass of the Angels in Belclare to pay their last respects to two year old Kate and 12 week old Grace Gilmore.

Their parents John and Michelle were married at the same church four years ago.

The girls were killed on a Sunday afternoon when they were hit by a car while out on a walk with their father on the N17 near their home on the outskirts of Tuam.
