Noonan hopeful ahead of 'tough' negotiations on debt deal
Minister for Finance Michael Noonan said today that he is confident that Ireland will get a deal on its bank debt.
It follows a weekend of uncertainty about a possible deal after German Chancellor Angel Merkel was quoted as saying that there would be no retrospective deal on legacy debt.
