Gardaí arrest two men over separate Dublin firearm incidents

Gardaí have arrested a 22-year-old man after the seizure of drugs and a gun in Dublin.

The discovery was made during the search of a house in Crumlin yesterday evening.

The man is being held at Sundrive Road Garda station, under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act.

Meanwhile, in a separate investigation, gardaí in Tallaght have arrested a 20-year-old man in connection with the discharge of a firearm.

The incidents relate to October 10 and 15.

The man was arrested in Tallaght in the early hours of this morning.

He is being held at Tallaght garda station, under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act.
