Gardaí appeal for information in Dublin sexual assault case

Gardaí are appealing for information after a woman in her twenties was sexually assaulted in Dublin last weekend.

The victim was walking along Cookstown Road in Tallaght in the early hours of Sunday last, when she was violently attacked.

She was taken to Tallaght hospital for treatment.

Investigating officers are urging anyone who was in the vicinity of Cookstown Road between 3am and 7am last Sunday morning to contact them at Tallaght garda station.
