A Dublin man living in Co Laois has been convicted of murdering a mother-of-one in a neighbouring flat.

Jason Daly of PJ Delaney Flats, Main Street, Mountrath will be given the mandatory life sentence after victim impact evidence is heard at the Central Criminal Court next Friday.
