Man arrested in connection with Dublin shooting
Gardaí at Crumlin Garda Station have this afternoon arrested a man in his late 20s in connection with a shooting incident in Dublin which left a 16-year-old boy with serious injuries last night.
At approximately 9 pm, the boy was shot while standing on the street outside a house on Lismore Road. A number of shots were fired from a passing motor car.
The motor car is described as a black coloured saloon.
The man is being detained under Section 30 of the Offences Against The State Act 1939 at Crumlin garda station and may be detained for up to 72 hours.
