Two questioned after 50 puppies recovered

Two men are being questioned by gardaí after 50 puppies were recovered following a search of two cars in Dublin yesterday.
The discovery was made when the cars were stopped on the Old Malahide Road in the Coolock area of the city.
The pups were in boxes in the back of both cases.
They included Cocker and Springer spaniels, Terriers, Beagles, Labrador breeds and 25 Jack Russells.
The two men are being questioned at Coolock Garda station.
The D.S.P.C.A have taken the pups into quarantine.
