Teenager shot in Dublin

A man has been shot in Dublin tonight.

Gardai in Crumlin are investigating the shooting incident which occurred at Lismore Road on the 9th October 2012.

At approximately 9pm a 16-year-old male was shot while standing on the street outside a house on Lismore Road where a number of shots were fired from a passing motor car. The motor car is described as a black coloured saloon.

He was taken by ambulance to St James’s Hospital. His injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

The scene is preserved pending a forensic and technical examination.
