PSNI investigate attack on man in Newry

Police in Newry, Co. Down are appealing for information after a man was attacked by three masked men in the early hours of this morning.

The 34-year-old victim was walking up Barcroft Hill in the city between 2am and 3am, towards Louanda Crescent, when he was attacked and struck with wooden bats.

He sustained swelling and bruising to his arms, legs and torso.
