Investigations underway after refuse collector dies

Two separate investigations are underway after the death of a refuse collector, who was working in Dublin city centre last night.

The man, who was in his 40s, was employed by a private waste company and became trapped in the back of a bin truck on Grand Canal Street.

He was brought to St James' Hospital, but died later from his injuries.
