Adams was leading member of IRA: Taoiseach

The Taoiseach has said that, as far as he is concerned, Gerry Adams was a leading member of the IRA.
Enda Kenny has said he has based his view on what he had seen and heard.
The Sinn Féin President has always insisted he was not a member of the provisionals.
"When Deputy Adams says to me that he wants a truth and reconciliation commission in respect of dealings with Northern Ireland, I'd like him to be absolutely truthful about this (issue)," Mr Kenny said.
"I had a serious discussion with Martin McGuinness, Deputy First Minister of Northern Ireland, and he was forthright enough, and honest enough, to admit that he was a member of the IRA.
"Gerry Adams might like to make a statement about that."
