Three due in Cork court after €1.5m cannabis seizure

Three men are due to appear in court shortly, in connection with a €1.5m drug seizure by gardaí in Cork yesterday afternoon.

The discovery was made when gardaí stopped and searched a car on the Boreenamanna Road and then later in a follow up search at a nearby house.

The three men, one in his 40s and two in their 50s, will be brought before a special sitting of Cork District Court this evening.
