Man's body found on Donegal road after suspected hit-and-run

Gardaí in Donegal are investigating a suspected hit-and-run after a man's body was found on the carriageway of the N15.

The body of the man in his 40s was discovered at Parkhill, approximately one mile from Ballyshannon town, at around 12.40am today.

The road is currently closed as Gardaí carry out a forensic examination. The man's body remains at the scene.

Gardaí in Ballyshannon are appealing for witnesses.

They would particularly like to speak to anyone who travelled on the same stretch of road between midnight and 12.40am today.
