Pregnancy link to family lottery wins

A Norwegian mother's family only win the lottery when she gives birth to a baby.

Hege Jeanette Oksnes' family have hit the jackpot on the three occasions she's had kids after her 18-year-old brother Tord scooped 12.2m Krone (€1.63m) last weekend just a few months after the 29-year-old petrol station worker gave birth to her third kid.

It comes after Hege had her second child in 2009, one day after she won 8.2m Krone (€1.09m) on the lottery, and incredibly her father claimed 4.2m Krone (€560,000) in 2006 just one day before she gave birth to her first kid.

She said: "This is completely insane … we don't even play the lottery that often.

"My husband thinks we have enough money now."
