Fixed-price drinks promotions are to be banned in the North, it was announced today.

Fixed-price drinks promotions are to be banned in the North, it was announced today.

Social Development Minister Nelson McCausland said the ban was expected to come into force next January.

Promotions such as “all you can drink for £20” will be outlawed.

He said the decision followed a public consultation which showed strong support for the move.
