Roscommon Gardaí arrest man after discovering cannabis growhouse

Gardaí have uncovered a cannabis growhouse in County Roscommon.

Up to 380 plants were recovered through an intelligence-led operation in which Gardaí searched a shed at Athleague at 3.30pm yesterday afternoon.

They are thought to have a street value of around €300,000, subject to analysis.

A man in his 30s was arrested at the scene and is being questioned at Roscommon Garda station.
