Cork gardaí uncover 'MANDY' drug in field
Gardaí in Cork have discovered around 200 grams of a drug known as 'MANDY' following a search of a field in Bishopstown, Cork.
It is estimated the drug could have a street value of up to €30,000.
Earlier this week the HSE issued a warning about the substance, a compound of MDMA and PMA/PMMA, after two men in their 20s were found dead in a house in Kinsale.
It is believed the compound may have been a factor in their deaths.
Gardaí are examining the possibility the drug was dumped in the wake of their deaths and the subsequent appeals for information.
