Luas Red Line almost restored

The Red Line Luas in Dublin is now almost fully restored, after disruption earlier.

It followed a collision involving a tram and a bin lorry on Benburb Street at 7.35am this morning.

The operator now says the Red Line is back running, except for The Museum and Smithfield stops.

It adds that passengers travelling beyond these stops will need to walk the short distance to nearby stations.

However, Luas tickets are valid on Dublin Bus for the duration of the disruption.
