Clonfert report reveals seven allegations of clerical abuse

A report on the diocese of Clonfert in Galway has found that allegations were made against seven priests overall since 1975.

Three of the priests from the diocese, a fourth provided holiday cover over a three-week period in 1981, and another three had complaints of sexual abuse made against them in other parishes prior to their arrival in Clonfert.
