Government 'totally committed to Croke Park agreement'

Government Chief Whip Paul Kehoe has said that there is there is no question of the Croke Park agreement being reviewed before it expires at the end of next year.

"This Government [is] totally committed to the Croke Park agreement," he said.

"When the Croke Park agreement ends at the end of 2013, we'll be re-negotiating that for the next agreement in the public service.

"But as is, we are committed to the Croke Park agreement.

"It is working. There's an awful lot of people who have issues with it - I've issues with the Croke Park agreement, but I'm sticking to it as a Government Minister, and I'm happy to stick to it."
