Mary Coughlan's husband dies at 48

The husband of former Tánaiste Mary Coughlan has died at the age of 48.

David Charlton, a garda from Co Mayo, died from cancer at his home in Donegal last night.

Fianna Fáil leader Micheal Martin has expressed his sympathy to his former colleage and their two children.
