Rabbitte: €350m broadband plan has full endorsement of Cabinet

Minister for Communications Pat Rabbitte said today that €350m will be invested in broadband to ensure an adequate service reaches all parts of the country.

Minister Rabbitte will launch the Government's National Broadband plan later this morning, amid speculation that the State will have to pay around €200m towards the cost.
