Louth: Post mortem being carried out on young mother's body

A post mortem is being carried out on the body of a young mother found dead at a house in Co Louth.

The 34-year-old's body was discovered at the home she rented on the College Manor estate in Dundalk at around 3am today.

The woman is understood to have lived at the address with her three children for a number of months.

Investigating officers are treating the death as suspicious.

Superintendent Gerry Curley of Dundalk garda station appealed for information.
