PSNI arrest man in connection with 12 July riots
A man has been arrested following riots in North Belfast on July 12.
The suspect, 33, is being questioned on suspicion of riotous assembly by detectives investigating republican violence which followed a loyal order parade through the Ardoyne sectarian interface.
Twenty police officers were injured in clashes surrounding a contentious Orange Order march and counter-demonstration by nationalist residents.
Petrol bombs, fireworks and other missiles were thrown during rioting.
Police officers came under sustained attack by hundreds of nationalist youths.
Ten gunshots were also fired at police from a semi-automatic rifle in Brompton Park.
