Groups call for sex payments to be made illegal

Fresh efforts are being made to put an end to exploitation and sex trafficking.

Representatives from 56 organisations - which make up the 'Turn off the Red Light' campaign - will today deliver a submission to the Dáil Justice Committee.

They are calling for payments in exchange for sex to be made illegal.

The submission follows a review of Ireland's prostitution laws.
