Mediated talks this evening in DAA taxi row

There's been a breakthrough in the taxi driver dispute with the Dublin Airport Authority.

Both sides have agreed to enter into mediated talks this evening, in an effort to find a solution to the strike action, which is affecting thousands of airport users.

Taxi drivers say they won't resume services until parking spaces that were taken away from them in a holding area are given back.

Director of Public Affairs at the DAA, Paul O'Kane, says extra bus services have been put in place to help alleviate the problem.
